Apothic Hair was named with the stylistic branding of an apothecary. Before modern medicine, one would go to the apothecary (place or person) to get their herbs, tinctures, oils and natural medicines. You would go to the apothecary to feel better, or help someone else feel better.

At our salon, we want to be your apothecary. We want you to feel good. To feel beautiful inside and out. To be well inside and out. There’s a bit of magic in all of us, let us show you yours!

I am highly motivated and always on the hunt for the newest tips, tricks, and techniques to ensure that my clients are receiving the absolute best care tailored to their specific needs. I have an eye for natural remedies as well, including but not limited to herbs and tinctures. I possess extensive knowledge related to how the body's function is related to skin care. I have previously worked in healthcare for 16 years and hold a number of certifications from safety and sanitation/bloodborne pathogens to reiki practition and massage. I have worked in Dermatology, Med Spa, and Day spa realms, but found a true passion for creating one-on-one catered care plans for clients. Due to previous career path in the medical field, I have a vast knowledge of diseases and how they could potentially be wreaking havoc on your skin. I believe in honest ingredients and honest answers.

Hi, I'm Macey! I have been a part of the beauty industry since 2017 when I became a salon receptionist. As a lifelong creative, I have always had a penchant for self-expression from makeup, to fashion, to trends and style. Being in the salon setting, I quickly found myself immersed in the magic that veils someone when they are transformed--not only in their outward appearance, but in their the confidence and self-assuredness as well. I went on to pursue my passion and attended cosmetology school at the Lorain County JVS, while simultaneously continuing to gain salon experience through the business side of being a salon coordinator. I welcome a wide variety of cut and color clientele with my passion lying in dimensional blonding customized to suit your life style and hair goals.

I have twenty-seven years of experience behind the chair and have met some amazing friends along the way. There is nothing in the world that I would rather do for a living! I like all aspects of hair, but color is my absolute favorite, and what I do most often. I hope to see you in my chair!

Hi, I'm Charlotte Tester. I have a passion for making people look great, feel even better, and boost their confidence! I have been doing hair for over thirty-five years, and it still excites me! I have undergone extensive continued education in both the US and Canada by some of the top stylists in the industry. I have previously owned and operated a salon for twenty years--which has taught me the art of truly listening! I enjoy all aspects of dimensional hair coloring, while I specialize in texturizing, short sassy cuts, and anti-aging! Anyone that knows me knows that I have a zest for living my best life, and that laughter and creativity go hand in hand!
Hi! My name is Kim Bass and I've been in the hair industry since 2011. I worked in corporate America for twelve years, and when let go, I decided to try something completely new! I attended the Brown Aveda Institute in Rocky River thinking I'd like to become a makeup artist. Once there however, I loved doing hair so much I knew that I found my real passion. After working at JCPenney for a bit, I had the opportunity to work at a small salon full of the most amazing stylists that became some of my best friends. I absolutely love being at Apothic Hair with my "sisters"! I have some of the most beautiful, fun, and loyal clients there are. I love doing both cuts and colors, and pride myself on providing "custom" color options for my clients.
My name is Morgan Thomson, and I've known I would do hair my entire life. After completing the LCJVS Cosmetology program in 2015 when I graduated from high school, I immediately started in the field. I am an independent stylist. I have a special passion for blonding and styling, but am very well rounded in my experience. My clientele has brought me to where I am today, I love being with them through it all. I have a blast getting to know, catching up with, and laughing with all my clients--there's never a dull moment!

Hello! I'm Maryann Reeves, co-owner here at Apothic Hair. I've been a licensed stylist for twelve years, and I absolutely love my career!
My love for hair and makeup started as a quirky teenager, and by the time I was fifteen, I knew this was the path I would take in life. My junior and senior year, I attended the LCJVS Cosmetology program, graduating in 2008 with both my high school diploma and my professional license. I then worked in a few different salons while I built my clientele.
In 2014, I switched gears and became my own boss as an independent contractor. From then on, I knew that I would love to some day go even further and open my own salon. September of 2019, that dream became a reality as Apothic Hair was founded!

My name is Callie Krieg, and I've been a stylist since 2012, but started my salon journey at fifteen years old working as a receptionist where I fell in love with the idea of helping people see their true beauty.
What I love most about my journey of hair-styling is the strong bond I have created with each and every one of my clients. Being there for some of the most important times in their lives. Crying with them, celebrating with them, and growing and learning from their experiences. To me, there is nothing greater than the human connection.
I specialize in blondes, extensions, and self love.
